Zion National Park

Zion's a pretty neat park too, but I'm so spoiled by driving through phenomenal parks and areas on the motorcycle, being able to look all around me, that it was pretty tough to sit on the mandatory shuttle and try to look thru windows that were open a couple inches. Not quite the same. Personally, I think the best part was the trip into the park - from the north, you go down, down, down... first on some winding roads, then thru a one mile long tunnel, then down switchbacks - awesome!!

It is probably too late to tell you this, but our paper had a write up of a neat restaurant in Kanab, UT, called the Rocking V Cafe (97 W. Center Street). The people found it enroute from Zion Nat'l Park to the north rim of the Grand Canyon. It might be worth a return trip just to go there!!!
L-O-O-V-V-E your pictures....
