Name the movie, based on the photo:
I think I'll always remember the scene where the father makes a model of Devils Tower, I think the first time it's with food??, while his wife and kids watch like he's possessed!! I guess I don't remember the details so much as the expressions on everyone's faces. ;-)
btw - the movie title is "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."

Hi Marcia! Glad you made it home safely! Richard Dreyfuss made Devil's Tower out of mashed potatoes in "Close Encounter". Funny, but that's what I remember most about the movie as well!

yeah, I thought it was mashed potatoes. Didn't he start with the plateful of mashed potatoes, but then later a bigger one made with something else??
I think you're right, but I can't remember what else he used! I think he might have tried to make a bigger version with dirt, but I'm not sure - it's been a looonnnggg time since I saw the movie!
