We saw several herds of elk. These two fellas were in Mammoth. I'm guessing the "old guy" was showing the "young guy" who's boss. But it looked like an awesome choreographed dance!

Bison were everywhere!!! We saw some by themselves, and others in herds of more than 50. Quite a few times, we had to wait while they crossed the road, or meandered right down the middle. It gets a little weird on the bike, with nothing between us and them. When they're too close, we just hurried by.
