I had heard a lot of folks say "Coeur d'Alene is beautiful" or similar things. So we stopped in the area for a few days. Well, it was pretty, but I guess compared to what we've already seen, or perhaps because of our preferred landscapes and roads, it wasn't quite as amazing as I'd hoped.
That being said, it IS pretty, as the following photos show...
