you're wondering...

My original intent when we left Montana was to go more south back into Idaho, straight to the Sawtooth Mountains, rather than west. However, while in Montana we decided we wanted to do the awesomely fun jetboat ride in Hells Canyon, thus forcing us to backtrack further than expected.

Really... there is (usually) a method to my madness!
