the last of Arizona

While I recovered from our mule ride, Greg went riding by himself. He enjoyed it so much he dragged me along the following day! The red rocks near Sedona are beautiful, and the riding into the valley is fun and twisty. Most of the buildings are similar in color to the surrounding rock, so it all looks pretty and in harmony.

Jerome, an old mining town, is now a tourist attraction. It has been said you can't look into your neighbor's window, but you can look down their chimney! And yes, it IS that steep. Even Main Street is split into one way streets, because otherwise they wouldn't be able to have buildings on both sides of the street.

My goodness - you sure have posted some great pictures - We especially liked the Grand Canyon.
We are enjoying 'traveling with you' even if we are still at home!
Keep those pictures coming - - -

Wow love all the pix! The Grand Canyon and Sedona brought back great memories, we were there 5 years ago. Awesome! I'm living vicariously through you!
